Piloting Activities

Mediarej continues implementing IO2 by starting a series of piloting activies, the first one was held Friday 23 by Udruga za kreativni socijalni rad:

On Friday, July 23rd, the first online workshop: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 was held as part of Erasmus+ project Mediarej by the Croatian partner Association for Creative Social Work (Udruga za kreativni socijalni rad).

Out of 14 trainers from Croatian group, 12 participants with trainer Branka Peurača in this workshop have started their work on capacity building in line with international standards with the aim to facilitate trainers’ mobility across the state borders as well as to strengthen joint quality standards. Participants bring to this process diverse knowledge from fields of social work, law, social pedagogy, psychology, social policy and education and have rich experience in work on social inclusion of marginalized groups, in justice and prison systems, in volunteer and community organizing, in emergency response, in gender-based violence and in different aspects of social care and human rights, with special emphasis on children’s rights.

During four sessions until the end of July 2021, Croatian trainers will create an inventory of our own personal and organizational resources for training in mediation and restorative justice, test two training modules created by our partners from Italy (thank you Nathan and Istituto Maritain!) and finalize 6-month action plan for this trainers’ group.

We are happy that, thanks to multiple identities, citizenships and residences of the participants, this event became regional and besides Croatia will impact Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.
